The Schmersal ZR236-11Z-M20 is a safety switch designed to provide access control for hazardous areas. It is designed for use in areas with a high risk of accidental or intentional contact with hazardous parts. The switch consists of two parts - a main body with red and black coloured buttons, and an actuating mechanism located behind the buttons. The main body is made from aluminium, giving a robust and durable finish. The switch is protected by a plastic cover, which includes IP67 protection along with virtually unlimited electrical strength and resistance to hot and cold environments. This switch also features an adjustable travel limit, adjustable snap action, and a double break contact system.
