The XS8C4A4NCN12 is a Schneider Electric XS Self-contained Plug-in Photoelectric Smoke Detector. This device is a self-contained smoke detector encased in a UL 94V-O plastic housing, suitable for installation in zones 1, 2, 21 and 22, as well as in UL268-listed panels. It features fast response time and has audible and visual alarming signals when smoke is detected. The detector includes a coronode ionization sensor that senses the presence of smoke particles in the air and signals the alarm. The tamper and test switch is used to test and reset the detector. The detector can be connected directly to a control or relay panel, or it can be connected to a conventional or addressable system through the X-LINK connector.
