RD2-1 is one of the nine raions (districts) of Selskiy in Russia. It covers an area of 1,472 km² and has a population of 16,056 (as of 2010). It is home to many small villages and hamlets as well as a few larger towns such as Varoskovo, Vysokiy, and Luchinskoye. The landscape is mainly flat, with rolling hills and forests appearing in certain areas. Agriculture is the main industry in the area, with crops such as wheat, cereals, and vegetables thriving in the fertile soil. There is also a vibrant forestry industry which produces forest products such as timber, mushrooms, and medicinal herbs.
