The SEMIWARE P3100SC is an SMB (DO-214AA) Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) RoHS-compliant component manufactured for various applications. This component is a single-stage, high-speed, compact GDT featuring a peak pulse energy rating of 40 joules. It is ideally suited for use in lightning protection, ESD protection, surge protection, and signal line suppression. The GDT is equipped with an algorithm which can reduce the conduction time of lightning strikes allowing use in applications such as cellular phone base stations and other communication equipment.
