Additional Infomation About Product

The Semtech 6HX103K5 is a high power, low voltage switching regulator in a 5-lead TO-220 package. It is designed to provide up to 5A of continuous output current while operating from a wide, 8V to 18V input voltage range. It integrates an internal power MOSFET and can operate at an efficiency as high as 92%, dependent upon the operating conditions. It also features pulse-by-pulse current limiting, thermal overload protection, and fixed frequency current mode control for improved noise immunity and reduced external component count for improved system reliability. Other features include a low profile package allowing for improved thermal management, and optional enable and synchronization functions.
