The RCLAMP0504FA with TVS SC-70-6 (SOT-363) RoHS is a semiconductor device manufactured by Semtech. It is designed to protect sensitive electronics against overvoltage transients and electrostatic discharges. The device is made up of a network of metal oxide varistors which are thermally and electrically isolated by a binder polymer. It is 4-pin SOT-363 package with extremely small size and reduced profile suitable for space limiting designs. It has a low capacitance (5pF typical), and a low clamping voltage of 5.1 V typical. It can dissipate up to 400W of peak pulse power (10/1000µs). The device is suitable for applications including USB ports, mobile phones, other handheld devices, modems, routers, gateways and DSLAMs. It is RoHS compliant, compatible with lead-free soldering and is halogen-free.
