The GP2Y0A02YK0F is a proximity sensor distance measuring sensor manufactured by Sharp that is capable of detecting distances from 20-150 cm with an accuracy of approximately 3 to 5%. The sensor uses infrared reflection to measure distances away, and it offers a high resolution of 1.2 cm. It is powered by a DC supply of 4.5-5.5V and features an open collector output and a short circuit protection system. It also features a wide range of sensing speeds including 10ms, 20ms, 30ms, and 60ms. The GP2Y0A02YK0F is easy to install and is suitable for use in a variety of applications such as PC automatically controlled lines, robots, automotive sensors, automatic doors, environmental control systems, and security systems.
