Additional Infomation About Product

GRTE18-P1167 is a safety switch from Sick, a manufacturer of industrial automation products. The switch is a two-handed start switch with a mushroom-shaped button at either end, designed to enable the start or stop of a machine. The contact block is suitable for direct opening contactors or contactor coils, so a signal change only results when both buttons are simultaneously pressed. This prevents an undesired signal change due to only one of the hands being used. The switch is made of robust materials with a corrosion-resistant coating, and is IP 67 protected for use in wet, dusty or other harsh environments. The GRTE18-P1167 is certified to European standards and is CE marked accordingly.
