The UC12-12231 is an ultrasonic sensor manufactured by Sick, used in the detection of objects in a range of distances between 55 to 250 millimeters. The sensor is equipped with a PNP/NO + NC switching output, and has an operating voltage range of 10 to 30VDC. It is made up of a plastic housing, with an ultrasonic transducer and integrated LED inside; and provides a large operating temperature range of -25? to +70?. In addition, the sensor also offers a high degree of protection against water, dust, and corrosion, due to its special housing design.
