Wireless The HL8548 is part of Sierra Wireless' HL series of embedded modules that offer high speed LTE-Advanced connectivity for next generation machine-to-machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) applications. This module supports GPRS, EDGE, HSPA, HSPA+, and LTE-Advanced technologies and is compatible with Sierra Wireless AirVantage and other mobile management platforms. With its 7 mm form factor, the HL8548 provides a hassle-free installation and reduces the size of a project. It also features advanced security functionality, including hardware VPN tunneling, authentication, and privacy features. The HL8548 is ideal for a variety of applications such as telematics, digital signage, point-of-sale terminals, and remote monitoring.
