ors The DBKD-10 is a signal-doubling protector created by the Signal-Constructors Corporation. It is used to protect telephone and telecommunication equipment from surges or other forms of overvoltage. It is primarily used in telephone switchboards and other communication systems. The DBKD-10 consists of a base unit with several inserts that can be used to create a customized protection system, depending on the types of equipment being protected and the vulnerability to surges. The DBKD-10 is equipped with dual MOV-based surge protection devices for both incoming and outgoing line protection, along with an optional gas-tube surge protection component. The device also has an integrated test unit for verification of the system. The DBKD-10 is designed for use in areas receiving power from a transformer system.
