The SY8842QWC is a high-efficiency, low-noise, DC-DC step-down converter manufactured by Silergy. It is designed with a QFN-7(1.5x1.5) lead frame and is compliant with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive. The SY8842QWC has a wide range of operating input voltage 4.5V to 32V and output voltage range of 0.6V to 5V. It provides high conversion efficiency up to 98.0% at nominal load. This device also features a low-noise, low-ripple DC output, programmable soft-start, temperature-protection, and short-circuit protection functions. It also includes current-mode control, an internal clock setting, and adjustable-frequency operation modes. The SY8842QWC is ideal for applications such as 5V distributed power systems, server PSU systems, portable applications, and battery-operated circuits.
