The SI8462BA-A-IS1 is a 6-channel Digital Isolator manufactured by Silicon Labs with 4 forward and 2 reverse channels. This isolator is part of Silicon Labs’ line of high-speed digital isolators, providing an isolation barrier between digital signals of 1 kV without any leakage currents. It utilizes Silicon Labs’ patented silicon-germanium (SiGe) process to deliver a surge withstand capability of up to 500 V/µs.It provides up to 1 Mbps of duplex data transmission, allowing it to be used in a variety of industrial and communications applications. The SI8462BA-A-IS1 features an integrated low-dropout regulator, which can supply up to 12 mA for external components, such as transceivers. It is provided in an industry-standard DIP package and is RoHS/WEEE compliant.
