The SIM5300E, a module manufactured by Simcom, is a two-in-one, integrated GSM/GPRS module that supports GSM, EDGE, GPRS, HSPA, WCDMA, and 2G/3G. It has downlink a theoretical maximum speed of up to 7.2Mbps and uplink up to 5.76Mbps. The module is packaged in a compact SMD package, making it ideal for a wide range of applications. It also supports a wide range of audio, modem, analog and digital interfaces as well as making it ideal for location-based services, IoT and M2M projects.
