The SIM8909-EVB-KIT with Dev.kit is an evaluation board manufactured by Simcom that utilizes the SIM8905E and a Bluetooth 4.0 protocol. It is designed for evaluation and testing of Multimode GSM/GPRS module SIM8905E with triple band GSM/GPRS supported. It is suitable for applications that require global data transmission and voice communication. The SIM8909-EVB-KIT comes with a rich set of peripheral functions to help reduce the development time and cost. Peripheral functions include LCD, Buzzer, RS232, UART/I2C, SD/MMC/SDIO, PWM, TFT Interface and Camera Interface. The board utilizes the QFN32 package SIM8905E and includes power supply, interface connectors and jumpers. The board also includes a SIM card holder and a microSD card holder. The board is powered by a Li-ion battery, making it completely portable and suitable for field testing. The Bluetooth 4.0 protocol enables short range wireless communications, allowing developers to easily transfer data wirelessly between devices.
