The SKYPOWER SP4566 is a PMIC (Power Management Integrated Circuit) with an ESOP-8 RoHS (RoHS-compliant, surface mount) package. It is used to monitor, regulate and control the charging of single-cell Lithium-Ion or Li- Polymer batteries. This device also offers an array of safety features such as over-voltage, over-current, under-voltage, thermal and cycle charging protection. Additionally, it also offers programmable end-of-charge current levels as well as programmable pre-charge and fast charge current levels. The SP4566 also offers high accuracy voltage, current, temperature and time monitoring. It also features a precise voltage regulation loop with a wide input voltage range, low noise and fast transient response. This device is designed for use with portable and handheld electronic devices.
