PRODUCT SUMMARY SKY65367-11: 169 to 170 MHz Transmit/Receive Front-End Module Applications Description The SKY65367-11 is a high performance, transmit/receive (T/R) Automated meter reading Front-End Module (FEM). The device includes a Power Amplifier Advanced metering infrastructure (PA) capable of more than +30 dBm of transmit output power ISM systems (VCC = 3.6 V) at more than 43 percent PAE for the module (63 percent for the standalone PA). For current-sensitive applications, the PA can be bypassed to save battery current. Features All functionality can be controlled by a three-wire interface. The Transmit output power: >+30 dBm FEM can be placed in a deep sleep mode, drawing less than 1 A of current. High efficiency PA The receive chain consists of a low-loss Single-Pole, Triple-Throw Receive loss: < 0.4 dB (SP3T) switch, which provides an insertion loss of approximately Transmit bypass mode with 0.9 dB insertion loss 0.4 dB. Three separate VCC pins enable maximum RF isolation. Sleep mode current: < 1 A The SKY65367-11 is packaged in a 16-pin, 4 x 4 mm Multi-Chip Integrated control logic Module (MCM), which allows for a highly manufacturable low-cost solution. Small footprint MCM (16-pin, 4 x 4 mm) package (MSL3, 260 C per JEDEC J-STD-020) A functional block diagram of the SKY65367-11 is shown in Figure 1.
