The SL8563S with MSOP-8 Real-Time Clock (RTC) from SLKORMICRO is a single-chip clock and calendar device that provides a complete calendar function, time-keeping function, and an I2C-bus communication interface. It is also ROHS compliant, meaning it does not contain any hazardous materials and can be safely used in electronic products. The device has an ultra-low power consumption operating on 1.2V, runs between –40 and 85°C, and features a built-in 20-month backup battery. It has 7 programmable alarm settings and 16 different calendar output formats, making it great for embedded systems applications that require high accuracy and reliable time/date information.
