The SL8563T is a Real-Time Clock (RTC) manufactured by SLKORMICRO. It is housed in an 8-pin Small Outline Package (SOP) package, and is compliant with the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive. The SL8563T is a low-frequency, low-power device, designed for applications with a limited number of clock/calendar parameters, such as timekeeping and calendar duties. It includes an I2C interface, a programmable alarm and a temperature sensor. It also has adjustable supply voltage, and very low stand-by current consumption.
