The 20D561K Varistor with Through Hole RoHS manufactured by SOCAY is a non-linear semiconductor component composed of metal oxide and designed to protect circuits against transient voltage spikes. It is designed to react to, or conduct, excessive current when a transient voltage spike exceeds the varistor's breakdown voltage point. The 20D561K has a clamping voltage of 560V and has a maximum current rating of 50mA. The part is non-polarized so it can be connected in either direction without any impact on performance. Additionally, it is RoHS compliant and has a peak power rating of 79.8 mW.
