The SMCJ36A with TVS is a surface mount, dual-channel, unidirectional tansient voltage suppressor diode. It has a RoHS-compliant plastic package type of DO-214AB and is manufactured by Socay Electric Company. This diode is designed to protect a circuit from overvoltage transients, due to electrostatic discharge (ESD) or electrical fast transients (EFT). This component has a peak power rating of 360 Watts and a peak pulse current rating of 70 Amps. It also has a low working voltage of 6 Volts.
