Additional Infomation About Product

The UN3E8-230H Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) is a small surface mounted device (SMD) component designed and manufactured by SOCAY. It measures 8 millimeters in length and 10 millimeters in width (8x10mm) and is RoHS compliant. The device is used to protect circuits and components against voltage transients. It acts as a fast, bidirectional switch that will clamp down and absorb sudden increases and decreases in voltage, providing transient voltage suppression (TVS) against electrical surge and other potentially damaging overvoltage events.
