The STE05D431K1BN0FSB0R0 is a Varistor with 350V and 430 voltage value from 387 to 473 and 745V through hole, RoHS certified manufactured by Songtian. It is a non-linear resistor designed to protect against electrical surges and spikes. The electrical surge is diverted away from the protected circuit and shunted to ground through the attached metal-oxide varistor. This bi-directional device works as a protection against High Voltage transients or different kinds of electrical noise on DC circuits. The device is a disc-shaped component with a body of zinc oxide filled with metal oxide discharged from a resistor network. It is designed for the surface mounting application and it delivers long-term reliability and stability over the temperatures ranging from -40°C to 125°C.
