The M85049/128-2 is a Spacecraft Electrical Cable/Wire Harness Assembly used for military and commercial use. The space-grade cable is designed for conducting electrical signals between two devices, and it is designed for long-term use in the hostile environment of space. The M85049/128-2 features a segmented/braided shield construction with copper-plated cadmium alloy strands that shield the insulation while providing mechanical and environmental protection. The cable is also shielded to prevent noise and interference. It is rated for an altitude of up to 1500 meters, and the insulation has a temperature rating of -65 °C to +125 °C.
