TSB 622 is a part of SSAC, the Structural Stone and Aggregate Council, which is an association of quarry owners committed to the sustainable growth and use of natural stone in the construction industry, with particular emphasis on the safe and responsible production, consumption and recycling of dimension stone and related construction materials. This part of the organization focuses on ensuring the safety and integrity of quarries, stone products and workers throughout the manufacturing process. It also provides general guidance for marketing and promotion to the industry, quality control, management and performance metrics, and research and development.
