The A-3870 from Stancor is an automatic dual-voltage, single-stage double-throw transfer switch. This device is designed for use in portable generators, where it can automatically switch between two different power sources, such as a generator and an AC utility line. The A-3870 features manual override capability, and it also has indicators to signal when power is connected and when the transfer is completed. Its rear-panel, double-terminal power input allows for wired installation with a bare minimum of wiring, while its rugged housing ensures reliability and durability in harsh environments. It is Class 56 rated and can handle up to 240V and 30A loads.
