Stannol® 626248 is a tin plated, round copper clad steel wire for electrical applications. It is UL-certified for temperatures up to 80°C (176°F). The wire is available in spools as well as various lengths, with various gauges available. The conductor has a fine, uniform round surface to enhance electrical and mechanical connection reliability. The insulation material is an easy-to-handle nylon-coated PVC, with a temperature rating up to 80°C. The insulation is both mechanically and chemically resistant, and is suitable for use in wet and moist locations. The wire is corrosion resistant and resistant to acid and alkalis, as well as to mildew, rodents and dampness. It is ideal for use in agricultural, industrial and indoor applications, and can be utilized in domestic installations.
