The L4984DTR with Power Factor Correction - PFC Current Mode PFC CCM Line Modulated Bi is manufactured by STMicroelectronics. It is a high voltage integrated PFC (Power Factor Correction) controller for Off-line SMPS (Switch Mode Power Supply). This integrated circuit features a current-mode PFC control loop with inrush current control and loss-less line current modulation. The PFC controller features an array of internal protections including Over Voltage Protection (OVP), Under Voltage Lock Out (UVLO), Soft Start, Over Temperature Protection (OTP), Over current protection (OCP), Load Detected (LD) and Passive Emission Control (PEC). It is capable of delivering up to 4A peak output current for driving the PFC output stage. It is an ideal solution for applications like LED driver, motor control, computer and consumer products, ACS, transfer switches, and many more.
