The L5987TR is an 8-pin step-down voltage regulator module manufactured by STMicroelectronics. It features a 2.9V–18V input range with a 0.6V–18V single output and has a 3A maximum output current. The regulator is built with an advanced PWM controller with built-in protection and over-temperature control. The package for the device is an 8-pin VFQFPN (Voltage-Free Quad Flat Package No Lead) with EP (exposed paddle) Thermal Reflow soldering. It is designed for applications that require a highly efficient, reliable, and small form factor power solution.
