The L6226D motor/motion/ignition controllers & drivers dual full bridge manufactured by STMicroelectronics is a dual full bridge driver IC designed to drive up to 30V and currents of up to 2.5A. It integrates two full bridges with low RDS(ON) DMOS transistors and can be used to spawn two independent half-bridges or one full bridge. The device has separate logic inputs for the two bridges allowing for multiple executions. It features a wide operating voltage range of 4.5V to 30V and has a number of integrated protection features including thermal shutdown, short circuit, undervoltage lockout, and floating installation. Additional features include external synchronization capability, independent independent-enable control for each bridge, low-voltage/high-current operation, and a variety of control and fault-indication pins.
