Additional Infomation About Product

The L6986F by STMicroelectronics is a synchronous step-down switching regulator with a high switching current of 1.5A, and an ultra-low quiescent current of 30 uA. It has a customizable output voltage that can be set as low as 0.6V with 0.7% accuracy over the full operating temperature range. This part also features a wide input voltage range of 2.5V to 36V, and is capable of operating with high efficiency up to 95%. It features an internal compensation network as well as an internal soft-start circuit for simpler design. This regulator is capable of handling both light and heavy load conditions, and is also immune to output short-circuit and output overvoltage protection. It is ideal for applications like LED drivers, battery operated devices, and point of load converters.
