SMAJ30CA-TR is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) from STMicroelectronics. It is designed to protect sensitive electronics from high-voltage transients caused by electrostatic discharge (ESD), electrical fast transients (EFT) and other voltage surges. It can be used to protect all types of sensitive electrical equipment from high-voltage, over-voltage, and reverse-polarity conditions. This TVS diode features an ultra low leakage plus fast, 3.0-nanosecond response time to minimize clamping and to protect against ESD spikes up to 20kV. It also features a peak pulse power rating of 30W, a low clamping voltage of 16V, and a wide operating temperature range of -55°C to 150°C.
