Additional Infomation About Product

The SMBJ100CA-TR is a 600W 100V bidirectional transient voltage suppressor made by STMicroelectronics. It is designed to provide bidirectional protection against voltage transients that may occur on electronic circuits by clamping transient voltage spikes to below established damage thresholds for the equipment. It has an ultra-low capacitance construction that allows it to absorb as high as 150Amps. It can be used to protect circuit against ESD (Electrostatic Discharge), lightning surges, inductive loads and other such high-energy events. Its low capacitance and bidirectional clamping behaviour makes it an ideal choice for applications such as telecommunication base station, automotive systems, household appliances and an array of other industries.
