The STCMB1TR with Power Factor Correction (PFC) is a combo controller manufactured by STMicroelectronics. It features X-cap discharge and LLC resonant technology, making it ideal for power supply solutions to reduce harmonic distortion and maximize power efficiency. This part features temperature-compensated input voltage detector (TVD) that eliminates the need for additional VDD components and facilitates a simple start-up operation. It has an internal steering control that can optimize the switching frequency to compensate the capacitor ESR, and a temperature compensation loop that helps increase the stability and reliability of the power design. The STCMB1TR provides a wide range of features and functions, making it the perfect controller for designing advanced PFC applications.
