Per channel connected to ground. Active current limitation avoids the system power supply dropping in case Output current: 1 A per channel of shorted load. Built-in thermal shutdown protects the chip from overtemperature and short- Shorted load protections circuit. In overload conditions, the channel turns Junction overtemperature protection OFF and back ON automatically so to maintain Case overtemperature protection for thermal junction temperature between T and T . If this TSD R independence of the channels condition causes case temperature to reach T , the overloaded channel is turned OFF and CSD Thermal case shutdown restart not restarts only when case temperature has simultaneous for the various channels decreased down to T . In case of more than one CR Protection against loss of ground channel in overload, restart of the overloaded Current limitation channels is not simultaneous, in order to avoid high peak current from the supply. Non- Undervoltage shutdown overloaded channels continue operating normally. Open drain diagnostic outputs The open drain diagnostic outputs indicate 3.3 V CMOS/TTL compatible inputs overtemperature conditions. Figure 1.
