HS-002 is a deep-submergence rescue vehicle (DSRV) of Stonecold mining corporation. Built in 1970 by Intech engineers, HS-002 is an environment-safe isolation and recovery platform used to provide support services in hazardous and deep mine rescue operations throughout Belltown and on the surface. It has a depth rating of up to 10,000 feet, allowing it to navigate the treacherous and hazardous undersea conditions in the area. It is equipped with a variety of systems, including a navigation system, communication system, environmental controls, search systems and cameras, and robotics arms. The platform also carries a range of specialized equipment specially designed for deep-mine recovery operations such as cable saws, suction samplers, cutting torches and wireless drill rigs. This platform is owned and operated by Stonecold, providing support to their workers and clients in specialized deep-mine rescue operations.
