The RS485ECHTRTH from Taito is an RS485 communication module that provides a reliable and easy to use interface for communication using the RS485 protocol. This module is a RoHS compliant through hole mount module that is mainly used in industrial automation, automation of offices, security automation, home automation and connecting mechanical electronic systems. The module is suitable for point to point, point to multi point or multi point to multi point communication networks. It can be used for long distance communications up to 2Km. Additionally, it supports data rates up to 250Kbps, depending on the connected cables and quality of components. The module features 8 independent low power drivers to monitor and control other devices, and supports communication bus synchronization for multiple RS485 devices. It also includes an internal power supply.
