The IDC-1212 is a motor and power control device, produced by the Tamura Corporation, Japan, as part of its Integrated Device Control (IDC) series. It is a miniature, low-power device that is capable of controlling motors and other electrical devices with an accuracy of 0.1%. It has several standard commands for controlling such devices, as well as two serial ports for communication with a PC or other microcontroller. Its compact design and high efficiency enable it to be used in a variety of applications. It is also equipped with a built-in fail-safe system that ensures proper power-up and power-down procedures for the motor or device it is controlling.
