The B88069X4791T602 Gas Discharge Tubes (GDTs) / Gas Plasma Arrestors from TDK are a series of compact, bidirectional, self-restoring voltage protection components designed to protect circuits from high-voltage transients. These GDTs feature low insertion loss and fast response time with excellent noise immunity. With a large energy handling capability and the ability to dissipate high surge energy, these components are ideal for applications requiring a wide operating temperature range, high energy absorption capacity and precise control of switching voltage. The GDTs offer superior protection from overvoltage events such as inductive switching, lightning, and static discharges, and feature a highly reliable non-linear characteristic which helps to protect against arcing and intermittent short-circuits. Furthermore, their extremely low capacitance and inductance make these Gas Discharge Tubes (GDTs) / Gas Plasma Arrestors suitable for protection of a variety of sensitive electronic circuits.
