The VLS4012ET-1R0N is a fixed inductor manufactured by TDK. It has a diameter of 4mm and a height of 2.1mm. This inductor has a Ferrite core as the main element and has a maximum saturation current rating of 1.0A. The inductance of the part is 1.0uH ±20% and an operating temperature range of -40°c to +85°c. The core material of the part is nickel-plated. The part is enclosed in a molded resin case, which ensures reliable operation in harsh environments. The recommended alternative to the part is the TDK 810-VLS3012CX-1R0M-1, which also features a Ferrite core and a nickel-plated core material, as well as a height of 2.1mm and a diameter of 3.0mm. The difference between the two parts is that the 810-VLS3012CX-1R0M-1 has a higher saturation current rating of 1.5A and a slightly lower inductance of 0.9uH ±15%.
