ATIONSThe MCP1802T-5002I/OT is a Linear Voltage Regulators (LDO) manufactured by TECH PUBLICATIONS and commonly manufactured in a SOT-23-5 package. The device consists of an inner PMOS transistor, an error amplifier, current-limit circuitry, thermal shutdown protection, and a switch-off triggered by an output over-voltage condition. The device provides a high-accuracy regulated output voltage of 5V with ±2% tolerance and maximum output current of 50 mA with an 8V dropout voltage and very low quiescent current. Furthermore, it features a fast turn-on response for instantaneous regulation of transient load current. Additionally, it is RoHS-compliant, eliminating the use of hazardous materials such as lead in the manufacturing process.
