SYDADP TE Connectivity

SYDADP is a new series of Advanced Disconnection Plugs (ADP) from TE Connectivity. The series features several unique features that help reduce production costs, improve safety and increase reliability. SYDADP ADPs are designed to perform operations that mechanically interface with a variety of other devices or components without any damage to the devices or components. The SYDADP plug utilizes a patented contact interface mechanism that locks the two halves together with an adjustable lock ring. This provides an exceptionally secure connection between the two halves, and ensures that accidental vibration, shocks, or mis-seating of the plugs will not affect the integrity of the connections. The connector's contact interface is designed to ensure that the mating reliability is extremely high even when exposed to extreme conditions. The SYDADP ADP is also designed to provide a high level of service lifetime when used in most environments. Its plug housing is made from a highly corrosion-resistant stainless steel alloy, and its contact interface is designed to provide reliable performance over millions of insertions and extraction cycles.
