The Texas Instruments BQ24091DGQR Battery Charger Li-Ion/Li-Pol 1000mA 4.2V 10-Pin HVSSOP EP T/R is an integrated battery charger for single-cell, Li-ion and Li-polymer battery packs that can charge up to 1000mA from 4.2V. It can monitor the battery voltage, temperature, and current, and has several features to protect the battery and charger, including over-temperature shutdown, short-circuit protection, thermal regulation, and a software controlled safety timer. This part also includes two inputs to configure the voltage, current, and safety timer settings, as well as nine LEDs to indicate the status of the charger. The 10-pin HVSSOP EP T/R package is designed for space-limited applications and provides a low-profile solution for mounting.
