The CD4021BE is a CMOS 8-stage static shift register integrated circuit from Texas Instruments. It contains a shift register, data selector, and an output register. This chip is used for shifting in data sequences and for controlling logic operations. The outputs of the data selector can drive up to seven logic gates.
