The CD74HC4052M is an advanced high-speed CMOS device produced by Texas Instruments. It is a dual 4-channel multiplexer/demultiplexer with independent enable inputs for each section. It can be used to select one bit of data from up to four sources and to route the selected input to a common output. It contains two 2-channel sections with an enable for each. Each 2-channel section utilizes a digital multiplexer/demultiplexer logic circuit in which the four individual inputs are then selected by a common Select input if enabled. The device is designed to operate from a single power supply from 2.0V to 6.0V and has a fan-out of 10 LSTTL loads. The CD74HC4052M is suitable for use in a variety of digital and analog applications including data acquisition, signal routing, logic gating, multiplexing, and interface communication applications. It is also useful for logic circuits requiring both grounding and voltage clamping between two independent nodes.
