The DRV8833CRTER with Motor / Motion / Ignition Controllers & Drivers 1A Low Volt Stepper Sng/Dual DC Mtr Drv manufactured by Texas Instruments is a dual full-bridge motor driver IC. It can be used to control either one or two DC motors for robotic and motion control applications. The device can drive motors up to 1A continuous and has integrated over current protection and over voltage protection. It also has adjustable current-limit protection and an adjustable shutdown threshold. The DRV8833CRTER features a low operating voltage capable of operating from 3V to 5.5V, eliminating the need for external voltage regulation. The device has a fast 1µs PWM for smooth motion control and has a fast turn-off threshold of 2µs. It has thermal shutdown and short circuit protection and comes in an easy to use QFN32 package.
