.The DRV8886PWPR Motor/Motion/Ignition Controllers & Drivers 37-V, 2-A bipolar stepper motor driver with integrated current sensing & 1/16 microstepping 24-HTSSOP -40 to 125 is manufactured by Texas Instruments. This electronic part is a two-ampere, 37-volt bipolar stepper motor driver and is offered in a 24-pin HTSSOP package. It has the added feature of integrated current sensing and allows for microstepping up to 1/16. It is specified for operation over a wide temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. The DRV8886PWPR can be used to drive a broad range of motor types, from low to high voltages, including two-phase, three-phase, and four-phase stepper motors. It has a short-to-ground and short-to-battery protection feature to prevent damage during accidental wiring defects. It also has an emergency shutdown feature to allow for safe deactivation of the motor in the event of unexpected power surges.
