Additional Infomation About Product

The ISO1540D is a device manufactured by Texas Instruments and is a low-power, bidirectional I2C isolator. It is optimized for switching between communications isolated from each other. The design of the isolator is symmetrical, which reduces power consumption and increases noise immunity. The device increases the working voltage of both sides of the isolation barrier while protecting up to two I2C ports. It also reduces the current requirement while providing a data rate of up to 400 kbit/s. It is also capable of tolerating voltage transients up to ±15 kV/µs ESD (electrostatic discharge). The ISO1540D has a high logic-level tolerance of up to 65 VDC and low-level leakage current of <1 uA in 7.2 VDC isolator threshold. The device is ideal for either industrial or consumer applications and provides a long service life.
