The SN65176BDR with RS-485 Interface IC from Texas Instruments is an improved interface between an integrated circuit, and an RS-485 communication bus. This differential bus line transceiver contains receiver, driver, and linear transceiver-wide input common-mode range characteristics that allow operation on a wide variety of communication buses over extended distances, even in electrically noisy and fas varying environments.
