SN74HC14DR Texas Instruments

The SN74HC14DR is a Hex Schmitt-Trigger Inverter with open drain outputs manufactured by Texas Instruments. The device is designed for high-speed processing and digital signal inverting applications such as voltage level shifting and buffering. The chip can tolerate up to 6V input signals and can withstand higher input voltages than conventional logic gates with symmetrical output characteristics. It is equipped with an internal circuit that can detect input signals and automatically adjust its output voltage level accordingly. This device utilizes a Schmitt-trigger which is a type of comparator with hysteresis, allowing it to reliably detect input signals that are close to each other in terms of voltage level. It operates over the 0 - 70 degree Celsius temperature range and its package is a small outline integrated circuit (SOIC) which measures 5 mm x 5 mm.
